Pilgrims and Prophets Tours

Pilgrims and Prophets tours are operated by a group of historians and local church members who will plan and guide a tour tailored to your specific interests, covering the Mayflower Pilgrim sights of Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire.

Tours provide an historical context in the development of Christianity from the time of Henry VIII to the origins of the Pilgrims and the Baptists, and include the option of including the later stages of reform with John Wesley. A key theme is how local people influenced the quest for religious tolerance and the First Amendment of the US Constitution.
